The rooms are large, well-equipped with a work desk, and have tea and coffee making facilities, as well as satellite television, and the food and drinks are delicious.

The place is spacious and well-designed, with a great terrace.

The hotel is a great value for money, with prices that won't break the bank. I loved the attention to detail, from the elegant details in the surrounding nature to the amazing views of the mountains while having a shower. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the basic amenities were all in place, including rooms with satellite TV, which was a delightful treat.

Our stay at Kalu's Hideaway was fantastic! The hotel's location near the national park was perfect for our early morning safari. The modern and well-furnished rooms were comfortable, and the air conditioning was a relief in the hot weather. The staff were friendly and provided a warm welcome. The highlight was definitely the delicious Sri Lankan curry! The hotel also had a lovely pool where we could relax after our safari. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay near the national park.

During our Christmas break, we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the friendly staff who were always attentive to our needs. We loved the fact that the hotel offered a safari tour, which was an amazing experience. The food was also a highlight, with a variety of delicious dishes to choose from. the location was convenient, close to a few tourist attractions and in a beautiful rural setting.

We found that the room had quite a few insects, including mosquitos and cockroaches, which made us feel uncomfortable at times. Although it is understandable due to the rural surroundings, it could have been improved.

The gardens are lovely with plenty of seating. Staff are great, they organized our safari and onward car. Food was excellent. Pool was very welcome on a hot day.

We enjoyed the refreshing pool and the delicious cuisine offered by the hotel. the surroundings were so beautiful and the location was perfect for us to explore the local attractions. the massage treatments provided us with the relaxation that we needed.

We had some communication issues with the staff, which made our check-in process quite confusing. the Wi-Fi only worked in the communal areas, which was not very convenient for us.

Payment with credit card can be a problem, taking too much time to settle the invoice in the morning.
